Description
The wedi Wall Sealing Set includes everything you need to fully waterproof the wall area in a standard shower or bath area. It is designed for use over existing flat substrates such as plasterboard walls and/or plastered masonry walls.
The wedi Wall Sealing Set includes:
- 3 x rolls of wedi Subliner Dry – a fully waterproof sealing membrane. Each roll measures 2.5m x 1m in size.
- 3 x rolls of wedi Sealing Tape for sealing the joints between each roll of Subliner. Each roll measures 2.5m x 120mm in size.
- 3 x wedi Pipe Sealing Gaskets for sealing around pipe protrusions such as shower fittings and mixer taps. Each wedi Wall Sealing Set includes 1 x gasket for 90-125mm pipes and 2 x gaskets for 10-24mm pipes.
- 1 x 3.6kg Unit of wedi 520 Flexible Waterproof Sealing membrane slurry for sealing the joints between each roll of Subliner, with the Sealing tape.
Installation Instructions:
Simply cut the wedi Subliner Dry to size and apply it to the surface using a thin-bed flexible tile adhesive (wedi 320 Tile Adhesive or similar). Use a 4 or 6mm notch trowel and press the membrane into the adhesive using a rubber roller or wooden board. Seal all wall connections, joints between the Subliner rolls and pipe penetrations with the included sealing tape, sealing gaiters and wedi 520 flexible sealant.
