The wedi Bathboard Tileable Bath Cladding Panels are designed to provide a suitable substrate for tiling on the sides and ends of bathtubs. They are constructed from the same materials as the wedi Tile Backer Board, with a waterproof polystyrene foam core coated on both sides with a fibre-reinforced cement coating that is designed to be tiled onto directly, without the need for additional preparatory work, apart from waterproofing any joints and fixings.
The wedi Bathboard Tileable Bath Cladding Panels measure 20mm in thickness and are available in 3 size formats: 2100 x 600mm, 1800 x 600mm and 770 x 600mm. The two larger panel sizes feature two height adjustable feet at the base and the smaller size features one single adjustable foot.
The wedi Bathboard Tileable Bath Cladding Panels are lightweight, very easy to work with and can be trimmed to size with simple tools such as a utility knife or saw. With their water-repellent extruded polystyrene (XPS) foam core and special coating on both sides, they can be finished directly with tiles, plaster or filler compound.
