Description
LTP External Stone Sealer is an environmentally friendly water based impregnating sealer for exterior use on patios, driveways, steps, etc. It is moisture-repellent and stain resistant, and delicately enhances appearance while helping to prevent moss and mould formation.
LTP External Stone Sealer protects against weathering and efflorescence while remaining UV Resistant and non-yellowing. It is also breathable and suitable for use on all types of external masonry including natural and artificial stone, limestone, sandstone, slate, brick and concrete paving.
Directions for use:
Preparation: Ensure surface to be treated is as clean and as dry as possible. If necessary, first wash surfaces down with a dilute solution of LTP Grimex (1:10). Scrub well using a white pad. Rinse well and leave overnight to dry.
Sealing: Shake bottle well before use. Apply LTP External Stone Sealer evenly to the surface using a foam roller or paint brush. On more absorbent surfaces apply further coats at hourly intervals until the surface is completely saturated. Remove any residual sealer if still visible after one hour.
Dried on, over applied sealer can be removed by buffing with a micro-fibre cloth. If dried on residues are left too long and difficult to buff away, simply apply a little soapy water and gently scrub with a white emulsifying pad, then rinse with clean water and leave to dry. On higher porosity surfaces sufficient sealer should be applied until treated surfaces are fully saturated. Do not use in temperatures under 5°C or over 25°C. Clean application tools and brushes with water after use.
Coverage per litre: Lower porosity surfaces, 15m². Higher porosity surfaces, 7.5m².
Aftercare: Routinely sweep surfaces to keep them free from organic matter. Surfaces that have been treated with LTP External Stone Sealer can be washed on a regular basis with LTP Waxwash.
Storage information: Store in a cool, dry, frost-free environment.
