Description

Lithofin Protector For Quartz is a special product from the LITHOFIN-Line for quartz composite and similar artificial stones.

Lithofin Protector For Quartz is a solvent based impregnator that contains nono components based on polysiloxanes that produce a strong water and oil repellent effect. The composite is colourless, ready and easy-to-use, and protects nearly all quartz composite materials against staining and dirt without changing the characteristic appearance of the surface.

Lithofin Protector For Quartz contains active ingredients that cause a repellent effect, which causes water and oil to remain on the surface instead of soaking into the stone. The product is UV-resistant and does not yellow, while repelling staining and provides proper surface protection for quartz composite and other artificial stones.

Especially suitable for kitchen work tops and other easily stained surfaces such as table tops, window sills, bathrooms.

Advice: The surfaces’ sensitivity to acid is not altered. On polished and finely honed surfaces, the surface sheen is increased. Rough surfaces become significantly darker.

Directions for Use:
Always test the product for suitability prior to use, preferably on a cut-off piece. The surface must be dry, clean and completely free of oil, grease, silicone, wax, etc. Use Lithofin Composite Cleaner for thoroughly cleaning the surface. Always treat the entire surface in one operation.

1. Apply Lithofin Protector For Quartz to the dry surface using a roller (do not apply any pressure) and immediately distribute thinly and evenly.
2. Allow to penetrate for approx. 10 minutes while redistributing the product several times.
3. Towel off all product residues with a dry and absorbent cloth. Do not allow any product resdiues to remain on the surface.
4. Rub the surface down with a micro fibre cloth for an even finish and allow to dry.

Please Note: protect glass, ceramics, plastics, polished and lacquered surfaces against splashes.

Clean application tools with thinner.

Coverage:
Approx 20 to 35 m²/Ltr. depending on the surface.

Drying Time: surface is dry after approx. 30 min. Material can be carefully handled after approx. 2 hours. The treatment becomes fully effective after approx. 72 hours. Do not cover or use vacuum lifting pads during that time.

Storage:
Closed, cool and dry. Not below 10°C. Shelf life of approx. 2 years. Use up container quickly once opened.

Durability, Refreshing Treatment:
The high density of quartz composite limits the amount of impregnating agents that can penetrate into the surface. Instead the active components form a durable protective effect at the surface that lasts up to 3 years. Since the effect is close at the surface, the maintenance system used has a high impact on the actual durability and the effectiveness of the protective treatment. Strong degreasing products or layer-forming products are not suitable. The Lithofin Care Kit for (Quartz) Composite contains the products as well as detailed care instructions for this material.

Recommendation: alwayas wipe up any spills immediately, even when the surface has been treated with an impregnator.
