Description

The JACKOBOARD Aqua Line PRO Linear Drain Shower Tray is a wet room shower tray with a linear drainage channel, constructed from extruded polystyrene foam with a cement coating on each side, reinforced with fibreglass mesh. Generally designed for use with solid floor applications. If you require a linear channel drain tray for use on a suspended timber floor, use the JACKOBOARD Aqua Line Easy Shower Tray.

The JACKOBOARD Aqua Line PRO Linear Drain Shower Tray features either a 1-way or 4-way fall already pre-formed into the tray. These falls are calculated to evacuate 0.9 litres of water per second, which suits both of the drain body kit options. The drain channel is bonded and sealed in the factory ensuring the secondary drainage system is secure and sealed. The pre-formed CNC machined falls in the tray provide a useful template for the tile cut lines, ensuring the water flow to the drain is optimal. Each tray is constructed from the same materials as the JACKOBOARD Plano Tile Backer Board, with a waterproof polystyrene foam core coated on both sides with a fibre-reinforced cement coating that is designed to be tiled onto directly, without the need for additional preparatory work, apart from waterproofing any joints and fixings.

The linear drainage channel of the JACKOBOARD Aqua Line PRO Linear Drain Shower Tray is made from brushed stainless steel and features a reversible grate that can be flipped over and tiled for a seamless look once tiled. The grate features an adjustable frame that can be adjusted in height to allow for different thickness tiles, from a minimum of 6mm to a maximum of 21mm.

The JACKOBOARD Aqua Line PRO Linear Drain Shower Tray is available in the following options: (on the trays with 1-sided falls, the thickness measurement refers to the measurement at the thickest end furthest from the drain trap and the slimmest end next to the drain trap respectively.)

6. 1400 x 1300 x 70-43mm with 1150mm end drain – 1-sided fall
7. 1600 x 1000 x 60mm with 950mm edge drain – 4-sided falls

The JACKOBOARD Aqua Line PRO Linear Drain Shower Tray is designed for use with the JACKOBOARD Aqua Line PRO Shower Drain Kit for connecting to drainage systems. This kit is available for purchase separately with a horizontal or vertical outlet. Also available is the JACKOBOARD Aqua Line PRO Installation Kit – this includes everything needed to install a JACKOBOARD Aqua Line PRO Linear Drain Shower Tray – cement-based adhesive for fixing the tray to the substrate, waterproofing membrane, sealing tape and corners, plus the standard Aqua Line PRO Drain Kit.
