JACKOBOARD Aqua Line Easy Linear Drain Shower Tray

Description

The JACKOBOARD Aqua Line Easy Linear Drain Shower Tray is a wet room shower tray with a linear drainage channel, constructed from extruded polystyrene foam with a cement coating on each side, reinforced with fibreglass mesh. Ranging in thickness from 40mm to 30mm, this tray is specifically designed for building level access showers on suspended timber floors.

The JACKOBOARD Aqua Line Easy Linear Drain Shower Tray features falls already pre-formed into the tray. These falls are calculated to evacuate 0.9 litres of water per second, which suits both of the drain body kit options. The drain channel is bonded and sealed in the factory ensuring the secondary drainage system is secure and sealed. The pre-formed CNC machined falls in the tray provide a useful template for the tile cut lines, ensuring the water flow to the drain is optimal. Each tray is constructed from the same materials as the JACKOBOARD Plano Tile Backer Board, with a waterproof polystyrene foam core coated on both sides with a fibre-reinforced cement coating that is designed to be tiled onto directly, without the need for additional preparatory work, apart from waterproofing any joints and fixings.

The linear drainage channel of the JACKOBOARD Aqua Line Easy Linear Drain Shower Tray is made from brushed stainless steel and features a reversible grate that can be flipped over and tiled for a seamless look once tiled. The grate has a fixed height of 15mm and the trap has a drainage rate of 0.6 L/s.

The JACKOBOARD Aqua Line Easy Linear Drain Shower Tray is available in the following options:

1. 1. 1200 x 900 x 40/25mm with 750mm end drain – 1-sided fall (this tray measures 40mm at the thickest end and reduces to 25mm at the trap end)
   2. 900 x 900 x 30mm with 300mm end drain – 4-sided falls
   3. 1200 x 900 x 30mm with 550mm end drain – 4-sided falls
   4. 1200 x 900 x 30mm with 550mm centre drain – 4-sided falls
   5. 1600 x 900 x 30mm with 550mm end drain – 4-sided falls
   6. 1800 x 900 x 30mm with 550mm edge drain – 4-sided falls

The JACKOBOARD Aqua Line Easy Linear Drain Shower Tray is designed for use with the JACKOBOARD Aqua Line Easy Shower Drain Kit for connecting to drainage systems. This kit is available for purchase separately with a horizontal or vertical outlet. Also available is the JACKOBOARD Aqua Line Easy Installation Kit – this includes everything needed to install a JACKOBOARD Aqua Line Easy Linear Drain Shower Tray – cement-based adhesive for fixing the tray to the substrate, waterproofing membrane, sealing tape and corners, plus the standard Aqua Line Easy Drain Kit.
