HG Wall and Floor Grout Protector

Description

HG Wall and Floor Grout Protector makes grout absolutely water, oil, grease and dirt repellent. With this special grout protector, all grouting is protected quickly and in the best possible way. Grout is often porous, which means that it can absorb grease, dirt and scale very easily. Spilling wine, soft drinks or greasy things on floor grout will cause marks on the grout that are very difficult to remove. Wall grout, especially in damp spaces such as the bathroom, will become dirty and ugly due to mould and scale.

During cleaning, water that contains dirt from the wall or the floor, also penetrates the grout. This turns the grout dirty, slowly but surely, and it is difficult or impossible to get clean. Fortunately, HG Wall and Floor Grout Protector offers maximum colourless and transparent protection.

HG Wall and Floor Grout Protector is supplied in 250ml bottles.

Application:

Follow the steps below for correct use of HG Wall and Floor Grout Protector.

1. First clean the grout thoroughly with HG Grout Cleaner.
2. Rinse the grout with clean water and leave to dry for 24 hours.
3. Leave new grout to cure and dry completely. For floor grout preferably use the supplied pipette to apply HG Wall and Floor Grout Protector.
4. For wall grout in the kitchen or bathroom for example, apply the product to the grout with a brush. Leave to dry for one hour, then apply a second layer. HG Wall and Floor Grout Protector must penetrate into the joint within 5 minutes. Remove any surplus with a clean cloth.
5. After 36-48 hours the surface can be cleaned again in the usual way. When using this product on floor grout, you can walk on the floor after approximately 3 hours. For showers, you can use the floor 8 hours after application.

Coverage:
250ml of this grout protector is sufficient for approximately 30 to 40m² grout surface.

Please note: Transport and store the box upright. Do not use too much HG Wall and Floor Grout Protector as this may have a severe discolouring effect. Using HG Wall and Floor Grout Protector may colour the grout joints a little lighter or darker, depending on the composition of the joint mortar.

Tip: When applying HG Wall and Floor Grout Protector with a brush, choose a brush of a similar width to the grout joints. Protect from frost.
