Description
Ardex ST Silicone is a one component, neutral cure silicone sealant which can be easily applied and smoothed. Ardex ST Silicone minimises discoloration, and is also suitable for filling joints between natural stone tiles such as marble and granite.
Available in 13 colours and transparent to complement the Ardex-Flex FS & Ardex-Flex FL range of grout colours: Brilliant White, Antique Ivory, Spring Jasmine, Natural Almond, Floating Driftwood, Dove Grey, Silver Shimmer, Ocean Grey, Slate Grey, Stormy Mist, Cast Iron, Innocent Black, Coffee Bean.
Due to its high elasticity, Ardex ST Silicone can accomodate movement up to 20% of the applied width. After curing Ardex ST Silicone is resistant to commonly used cleaners, disinfectants, and UV exposure. Joints can be cleaned easily, and the inclusion of fungicide prevents growth of fungus and moulds, preserving the joint surface from deterioration.
Ardex ST Silicone has excellent adhesion to glazed and unglazed tiles, enamel, glass, acrylic, anodized aluminium, plastics, laminated kitchen work boards, solvent free acrylic varnished surfaces, thicker varnish, and wood.
For use in internal and external applications for walls and floors. Ardex ST Silicone can be used for the elastic sealing of movement joints, corner and connecting joints in bathrooms, showers and living areas such as tiled floors, and connections to doors and windows.
Suitable for internal and external use. This product should not be used on the following substrates: Bitumen, butyl, EPDM, rubber, polyethylene. neoprene, tar and Teflon. It does not adhere to polyethylene and Teflon. On the other substrates discoloration may appear. The surface of Natural Stones and open porous tiles should be protected with masking tape to prevent the sealant entering pores in the surface, which could lead to discoloration.
