Description
The Montolit F2 Electric Tile Saw is a small, lightweight, portable, water-fed tile saw for easy and quick cutting of medium to small ceramic, porcelain and natural stone tiles and mosaics. It can facilitate straight cuts and features a sliding scale fence with a 90° corner fence accessory for cutting square tiles at 45°. It can also perform edge mitres with the tilting table bed.
The Montolit F2 Electric Tile Saw is supplied complete with a 180mm diamond cutting blade with a continuous rim. This blade is suitable for cutting ceramic materials, even those with a considerable degree of hardness such as double-fired glazed tiles. The Montolit F2 Electric Tile Saw features a unique blade wetting system, which totally eliminates dust produced while cutting. Water consumption is minimal thanks to a specially designed protective blade cover that brings the liquid back into the collection tank located in the frame itself.
The base of the Montolit F2 Electric Tile Saw is constructed from high strength, shockproof ABS plastic and features vibration-damping rubber feet. The table bed is constructed from stainless steel and can be tilted, and features an adjustable tilt angle guide for accuracy. It also features a sliding guide fence with an integrated measuring guide.
The entire Montolit F2 Electric Tile Saw unit measures 340mm x 360mm x 230mm and weighs in at 7.1 kg, easily carried by one person and can be transported to and around job sites with minimal effort.
The Montolit F2 Electric Tile Saw features a 240V, 450W electric motor that spins at 2800 rpm. With the included 180mm diamond cutting wheel, it can cut hard materials such as porcelain stoneware, or delicate ones such as glass, up to 35mm thickness with accurate cuts and no chipping. The Montolit F2 Electric Tile Saw also features a fully sealed, waterproof power switch for user safety and is supplied complete with a 3-pin UK plug.
