Description

The Battipav PRIME S Bridge Saw is an electric bridge saw designed for the tiling and building industry. Available in 5 different models that feature cutting beds from 850mm up to 2000mm in length. This saw is designed for cutting porcelain and ceramic tiles, bricks, natural stone tiles, concrete blocks, granite, marble and slabs.

This saw features a 110V power connection.

The Battipav PRIME S Bridge Saw features a powerful 115V/2200W, 2800rpm electric motor that can cut up to a maximum thickness of 110mm in one run. It powers a 350mm diameter diamond blade (not included) that is water-cooled. This saw can cut up to 180mm thicknesses with two passes of the blade, switching the material round prior to each run. The blade and motor assembly is height adjustable to accommodate larger materials such as bricks. The Battipav PRIME S Bridge Saw also features a laser guide for excellent cutting precision.

The frame of this table saw is constructed from aluminium and features collapsible legs, to facilitate ease of transport and storage. The legs include mounted wheels at one end for enhanced manoeuvrability. The perforated cutting bed is made from stainless steel and features a protractor square for keeping the tile in the correct placement for cutting different angles. The bed of the Battipav PRIME S Bridge Saw is also used as a water reservoir for the blade water cooling system.

The bridge on the Battipav PRIME S Bridge Saw is also constructed from aluminium and is tiltable, to accommodate for angled mitre cuts on tile edges, up to 45°. The electric motor and blade assembly is mounted to the bridge and is operated via a rotary handle, that smoothly moves the cutting blade and motor assembly along the bridge via a wire rope and pulley system, for a very controllable blade movement. The wiring and water cooling supply pipes that are connected to the motor assembly are secured to a boom arm that is mounted above on top of the bridge. The Battipav PRIME S Bridge Saw is designed to cut by pulling the blade towards the operator, through the tile.
