Description
UltraTile ProPave Slurry Primer is a polymer modified cementitious slurry primer specifically formulated to provide exceptional bond between all types of stone surfaces and UltraTile ProPave Bedding Mortar. The product is suitable for application on driveways and patios.

Preparation:
Correct surface preparation is critical in order to guarantee successful application and durable product performance. The paving elements should be cleaned to remove dust, loose material, packaging and/or production aids prior to the application of UltraTile ProPave Slurry Primer. When using the primer on an existing slab ensure the substrate is clean free from debris and pooling water.
Mixing:
Place 5.95 litres of clean water in a suitable container. Add UltraTile ProPave Slurry Primer powder slowly and mix for 3 to 5 minutes to create a smooth lump free slurry. The primer can be used on the supporting layer immediately prior to the application of the laying course (UltraTile ProPave Bedding Mortar).
Application:
Having ensured the reverse surface of the Porcelain/ Stone is clean prior to the application of UltraTile ProPave Slurry Primer. The reverse of Porcelain/Stone should be primed to a thickness of 1mm-2mm using Brush or Roller immediately prior placing upon UltraTile ProPave Bedding Mortar. The slurry should be fresh and wet when the paving materials are placed on to the wet bedding mortar.
Cleaning:
During the application of the UltraTile ProPave Slurry Primer, ensure that the face of the porcelain/Stone is kept clean. If any of the primer gets on the face, wipe of immediately with clean water. DO NOT allow to dry on the face.
Precautions:
This product contains cement which, when mixed with water, is alkaline and may cause skin irritation. Always wear protective clothing and work in well-ventilated areas. If product enters the eyes, wash thoroughly with clean water. If discomfort continues, seek medical advice. As with all powder products, the material should be mixed carefully in order to avoid the raising of dust.
