Schluter SCHIENE AC Coated Aluminium Tile Trim is a finishing profile that protects the external corners of tiled wall surfaces against damage. The unique design of Schluter SCHIENE AC combines specific angle positions and material wall thicknesses to transmit point loads into the substrate and surface covering, thus protecting the covering’s edges against damage. The integrated joint spacer forms a defined grout joint cavity against the tile edge, which creates an evenly spaced joint of 1.5 mm in width.
Other applications for Schluter SCHIENE AC Coated Aluminium Tile Trim include dado coverings and transitions for coverings such as carpet, natural stone, or epoxy resin coverings for wall areas.
In addition to the profile’s decorative effect, it protects the tiles against damage caused by mechanical stresses along the edges.
Schluter SCHIENE AC Coated Aluminium Tile Trim is pre-treated (chromated), then colour coated with a polyurethane powder coat. The coating is colour stable, UV resistant, and suitable for exterior use. Protect the profile against abrasion or scratching.
Schluter SCHIENE AC Coated Aluminium Tile Trim is available in BW Brilliant White, W White, MBW Matte Brilliant White and MGS Matte Graphite Black in the following internal height sizes: 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, and 12.5mm. All sizes come in lengths of 2.5 metres.
