Description
The Refina Portaroll Decoupling Membrane Roller is designed for ensuring optimal adhesion when laying decoupling membranes, by pressing the membrane down into the adhesive. Ballast weight is added to the roller by placing one or two bags of material such as tile adhesive, on the front shelf bracket. The roller is then simply rolled along the matting to firmly press it into the adhesive bed below.
The Refina Portaroll Decoupling Membrane Roller features a sturdy, zinc plated metal frame construction that is lightweight and portable, whilst remaining compact and easy to use, with a rubber T-grip handle. The solid roller bar is made of plastic and measures 22″ (550mm) in width. Almost all decoupling membranes measure 1 metre in width, so can be covered in just two passes, which is a significant time saving compared to using a narrower roller or manually pressing the membrane down using a float, on your hands and knees.
The Refina Portaroll Decoupling Membrane Roller has been designed with portability in mind. It is easy to assemble and breaks down in three easy steps. It is supplied in a heavy duty plastic case for easy transportation and requires minimal storage space when packed away.
This decoupling membrane roller is primarily designed for laying decoupling membranes, but is also suitable for other applications such as laying vinyl flooring.
