Description

weberset Rapid Plus ECO Tile Adhesive is a rapid-setting wall and floor tile adhesive for larger or heavier tiles, suitable for wet and dry areas. Available only in grey, in 20kg bags.

weberset Rapid Plus ECO can be used on solid wall substrates such as brickwork, blockwork, cement, concrete and plasterboard. Can also be used on solid floor substrates such as anhydrite screeds, cement/sand screeds and existing ceramic tiles. Application thickness of 3-6mm.

weberset Rapid Plus ECO can be mixed with weber AD250 Primer/Additive as a two-part adhesive to increase the flexibility of the adhesive.

Meets the certification of BS EN 12004 – C2FT.

Things to consider:

• If fixing tiles onto wooden substrates, add weber AD250 Primer/Additive first
• If fixing tiles with resin backs, instead use weberset Plus Tile Adhesive mixed with weber AD250 Primer/Additive

Coverage (approx.): 9 kg/m2 (solid bed, 6 mm thick) 4.5 kg/m2 (solid bed, 3 mm thick) 3.0 kg/m2 (using a notched trowel with 6 x 6 mm notches at 12 mm centres)
Open time: 10 minutes
Working time (pot life): 30 minutes
Set time: 2 hours
Temperature resistance: –10 to 100°C and frost resistant when set
Water addition: 4.4 litres per 20 kg for floor tiling, 3.8 litres per 20 kg for non-slip wall tiling
Particle size: Up to approx. 0.5 mm
Note: setting times are quoted at 20°C and are temperature and humidity dependent
