Sintered Diamond Hole Cutters

Description

Sintered diamond hole cutters for drilling holes through tiles made from natural stone such as limestone, granite, marble and slate. Also suitable for ceramic and porcelain tiles.

Each hole cutter is made up of a hardened steel core with a diamond segment tip. This diamond segment tip is made by combining synthetic diamond crystals with metal powder and then sintering to the steel core. This sintered tip is very long lasting and durable, especially when used with water to cool the cutter and prevent it from overheating. Overheating causes the diamond tip to break apart and degrade the cutting performance.

We recommend using these cutters at a maximum rpm of 2500 and using water to cool the tip.

These sintered diamond hole cutters come with a 1/2 Gas fitting, which also has an internal M14 thread for use with angle grinders and other tools.
