Schluter KERDI LINE G3 Linear Drain

Description

The Schluter KERDI LINE G3 Linear Drain is a low-height linear drain constructed of stainless steel. It is available with central, offset left, offset right or dual outlets equipped with an odour trap integrated into the drain body and is suitable for perimeter or intermediate installation. The centre of the offset & dual offset drain outlet(s) measures 200mm from end of the drainage channel flange.

The Schluter KERDI LINE G3 Linear Drain is available in lengths from 500mm to 1200mm, in 100mm increments. This length value refers to the internal size of the channel trap – the external length of the body is 50mm more for each size, due to the 25mm flange that runs round the entire top edge of the channel body. As is standard for Schluter linear drains, this flange comes with a pre-adhered collar of Schluter KERDI 200 membrane to allow for reliable connection to the bonded waterproof assembly. It ensures the reliable connection of the channel body to the bonded waterproofing assembly, both in the floor area and on upright walls. It can be universally used for intermediate installation in floor or at wall areas.

Please note, the different outlet variants are only available in a certain range of channel lengths:

• Central Outlet: 500mm to 1200mm
• Offset Left Outlet: 700mm to 1200mm
• Offset Right Outlet: 700mm to 1200mm
• Dual Outlet: 1000mm, 1100mm an 1200mm.

The Schluter KERDI LINE G3 Linear Drain can be combined with the KERDI LINE Standard, KERDI LINE STYLE Contour Grate/Frame Sets and the KERDI LINE DG3 frameless tile cover support, which are purchased separately. Please note: This drain is not compatible with the KERDI LINE Standard C Design or the KERDI LINE D Frameless Cover Support.

The Schluter KERDI LINE G3 Linear Drain is designed to be used with the Schluter pre-formed sloped linear shower trays – Schluter KERDI SHOWER LT/LTS Shower Trays. The 2000 x 1360 x 39mm LTS Tray is designed specifically for use with the Schluter KERDI LINE G3 Linear Drain – it is a low-height tray that simplifies creation of a level access shower area on timber joist substrates. The dimensions work out to equal a height of 26mm at 1000mm long and 39mm at 2000mm long, offering a gradient/fall ratio of 1 in 80. When cut to 1000mm long this tray works perfectly with a 18mm timber floor and a Schluter DITRA HEAT DUO Installation. See the video at the bottom of the page for a demonstration of this.

When installing the Schluter KERDI LINE G3 Linear Drain in a suspended timber floor, we recommend using the Schluter KERDI LINE G3 Installation Accessory for ease of installation.

When the Schluter KERDI LINE G3 Linear Drain is used in conjunction with the waterproofing systems Schluter KERDI 200 Membrane, Schluter DITRA 25 Matting, Schluter DITRA HEAT Matting or Schluter KERDI BOARD and the associated system sealing adhesives Schluter KERDI COLL L or Schluter KERDI FIX, this results in certified bonded waterproofing assemblies with a connected linear drainage.
