Description
The RUBI DCX-250 XPERT Tile Cutter range is designed for intensive cutting of porcelain stoneware tiles (BIa), and any other type of ceramic tile (BIIa/BIIb/BIII/AIb), while allowing an occasional cutting of natural stone materials. Available in two sizes, 1250mm and 1550mm, and two power supply voltages, 110V and 230V. Please note: This cutter is not supplied with a blade.
The design of the RUBI DCX-250 XPERT Tile Cutter is comprised of a highly reinforced aluminium chassis, with an innovative triple beam system and steel fronts to improve the stability and rigidity of the entire chassis. The moving cutting head of the RUBI DCX-250 XPERT Tile Cutter moves along a reinforced guide, also made of aluminium, for a better and more precise finish when cutting. The entire bridge of this saw can also tilt to perform 45° mitre cuts on tile edges. This system also incorporates a high-performance plunge cutting effect, allowing the cutting height to be adjusted to the user’s needs.
The C3 Python water cooling system increases cooling efficiency and reduces water dispersion and loss. More efficient cooling helps increase diamond blade performance. The water cooling system uses an external tank, handling it during cleaning and refilling operations is easier and faster than using a conventional water reservoir under the cutting table of the saw.
The RUBI DCX-250 XPERT Tile Cutter models also incorporate reinforced handles and wheels (off-road type), which provide a better experience in transporting and handling them. The folding reinforced legs at each end include a quick locking system and a safety device that prevents involuntary folding during work and possible movements that we may make in the same workplace. In addition, the DCX include a regulator that ensures correct levelling of the cutting table.
This tile cutter is also fitted with the RUBI ZERO DUST system, patented and certified by the TNO*, which allows, thanks to the reduction of respirable dust particles generated during cutting, safe exposure to % silica from ceramic materials and natural stones. This offers “safe exposure” values to respirable quartz dust particles within the “user inhalation zone”, which allows RUBI electric cutters to work up to 3 hours daily and consecutively cutting ceramic tiles and 1 hour in cutting natural stone in a closed and unventilated space of 15 m3.
