Mapei Adesilex G20 Flooring Adhesive is a low viscosity, two-component epoxy polyurethane adhesive for bonding thin rubber flooring, semi-flexible homogeneous and heterogeneous PVC tile and sheet, textile and linoleum floor coverings internally and externally on new or existing substrates. Mapei Adesilex G20 is suitable as universal adhesive for rubber, PVC and all common resilient and textile floor covering types, especially in the event of extreme temperatures due to solar radiation, intense mechanical stress by lift truck, forklift, etc. or frequent washing, in particular when the floor coverings are not welded or sealed.

Technical Characteristics:

Mapei Adesilex G20 Flooring Adhesive is a low viscosity, two-component adhesive made from an epoxy-polyurethane polymer, component A, and a special hardener, component B. When the two components are mixed together, they form an even coloured paste which is easy to apply with a suitable notched trowel.

After the application, the adhesive ridges flatten so that they can’t shadow through the floor covering. After setting (around 24 hours), which takes place by means of a chemical reaction without any shrinking, Mapei Adesilex G20 Flooring Adhesive becomes though and resistant to moisture, water, heat and atmospheric agents, and adheres extremely well to almost all materials normally used in the building industry.

Consumption / Coverage:

Usage of Mapei Adesilex G20 varies according to the flatness of the substrate and the type of backing on the flooring material (and, therefore, the type of trowel used):

Approx. 20m² per 10kg, 10m² per 5kg.
