Description
The Lithofin Anti Slip Kit consists of a Basic Cleaner and the Lithofin Anti Slip Fluid, suitable for making slippery surfaces such as ceramics, enamel and natural stone surfaces slip resistant.
Lithofin Anti Slip Fluid chemically reacts with the surface of ceramics, enamel and silicate containing natural stones. This works by etching small cavities into the surface, thereby increasing the slip resistance.
The Lithofin Anti Slip Kit is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Especially suitable for porcelain, glazed ceramics, enamel and natural stone such as granite, gneiss, etc. It also works on wet surfaces.
The basic cleaner that comes with the kit is a mildly alkaline cleaner for removing oily and greasy dirt from ceramics and natural stone to prepare the surface for receiving the Anti Slip Fluid which contains fluoride for roughing ceramic and natural stone surfaces.

Directions for Use:
1. Preparation: the surface must be thoroughly cleaned. Dilute the Basic Cleaner up to 1:5 with water and apply with a sponge. Vigorously scrub the surface with the rough pad on the sponge. Carefully rinse the clean surface with plenty of water to remove all product residues.
2. Treatment: first try Lithofin Anti Slip on a left over tile or in an inconspicuous area in order to evaluate the effect and determine the working time. Apply Lithofin Anti Slip to the clean and dry surface and immediately distribute the product evenly with the second sponge (wear the enclosed protective gloves). There should be a visible liquid film on the surface. During working time, repeatedly wipe and redistribute the product with the sponge, add more product if necessary. Do not allow the product to dry (Lithofin Anti Slip only works as a liquid). Avoid foam. Continuously check the slip resistance by moving the sponge across the surface. Stop treatment when the desired effect is reached.
3. End Treatment: add water and a few drops of the Basic Cleaner to the solution on the surface, distribute immediately and wipe off the surface. Rinse well with clean water.

Further Treatment:
Granite and other natural stones should be impregnated with MN Stain Stop or STAINSTOP W and maintained with MN Wash & Clean.

Good product. Makes a slight change to the surface of some Spanish style tiles to reduce the risk of slipping. Has no effect on the look of the tiles and no impact on the grouting etc. Second time I have used it, effective for about 4 years. Instructions are clear and its easy to apply.
