Description

Kerakoll Fugalite Bio is a water-based hypo-allergenic resin for waterproof, stain-proof, silk-effect grouting of porcelain tiles, natural stones and glass mosaic. Can be used on internal and external walls and floors, and is Catas-tested for colour durability in external applications. Approved for marine use.

Kerakoll Fugalite Bio is available in the following colours: 01 – White, 02 – Light Grey, 03 – Pearl Grey, 04 – Iron Grey, 05 – Anthracite, 06 – Black, 07 – Jasmine, 08 – Bahama Beige, 12 – Walnut, 15 – Ocean, 46 – Ivory – 3kg, 51 – Silver, 54 – Larix, 55 – Betula, 56 – Acer, 58 – Fagus, 59 – Ulmus, 60 – Quercus, 61 – Castanea, 62 – Milicia, 63 – Afzelia, 64 – Tectona, 65 – Millettia.

Please note: The 54 – Larix, 55 – Betula, 56 – Acer, 58 – Fagus, 59 – Ulmus, 60 – Quercus, 61 – Castanea, 62 – Milicia, 63 – Afzelia, 64 – Tectona and 65 – Millettia colours are designed by Kerakoll to be a match for wood effect porcelain plank tiles, so they are branded Fugalite Bio Parquet.

Kerakoll Fugalite Bio is a two-part grout and adhesive, composed of a 1.77 kg coloured paste (Part A) and a 1.01 kg liquid. Each unit is 3kg total weight.

Kerakoll Fugalite Bio is suitable for joints from 0 – 5mm in width. Do not use on joints more than 5 mm in width, or on porous flooring for which more specific or alternative chemical resistances are required compared with those listed in the chemical resistances table, to grout elastic expansion or fractionizing joints or on substrates that are not fully dry and subject to moisture rising. Use the grout calculator below to estimate how much grout you will need for your application. You will need details such as tile size and thickness, joint width and the area size to gain an accurate estimate.

Kerakoll Fugalite Bio is dermatologically-tested, with the result as hypoallergenic according to a skin tolerance medical experiment conducted at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia dermatological clinic. Available in 23 natural shades inspired by the collections mainly used for making contemporary ceramic coverings. Guarantees the aesthetic and functional continuity of grouted surfaces.

Kerakoll Fugalite Bio is resistant to UV rays and waterproof – the finished surface is highly hydrophobic, water-resistant, non-absorbent and does not change colour. This grout is also Bacteriostatic – CSTB-tested. This prevents the proliferation of bacteria and moulds and is also stain proof – as tested by the Italian Ceramic Centre – Bologna (Centro Ceramico Bologna).

Kerakoll Fugalite Bio can be cleaned easily and complies with HACCP/EC 852/2004 requirements for food hygiene.

Kerakoll Fugalite Bio is suitable for natural stone tiles, porcelain tiles, low thickness slabs, ceramic tiles, klinker, cotto, glass and ceramic mosaic, of all types and formats. We recommend using a rubber grout float such as the Kerakoll Rubber Grout Float to apply. When cleaning off we recommend using the Kerakoll Cellulose Grouting Sponge along with Kerakoll Fuga Wash Eco as an additive in the wash-water to facilitate cleaning off the grout residue and leave a perfectly smooth surface finish. Use Kerakoll Fuga Soap Eco to remove any hardened streaks or residue from surfaces along with a Kerakoll Abrasive Felt Pad.
