Feder MKD Resin Adhesive is a two-part polyester resin-based adhesive for use with granite, engineered stone & marble. Designed for indoor use only.
Feder MKD Resin Adhesive is a polyester resin adhesive which is chemically inert and offers extended durability, features high- reactivity, rapid hardening, no withdrawal from substrate materials during reticulation and a modest shrinkage during hardening (1 to 6%). This adhesive is the culmination of Federchemicals’s extensive knowledge and experience in the use of polyester resins with marble and natural stones. This quality control guarantees an exceptional product and a fine, softer adhesive with excellent adhesion that has a very smooth texture and is easy to work with.
Feder MKD Resin Adhesive is available in three types, Transparent (fluid), Straw (paste) or Clear (paste), in 1 Litre tins. Each tin comes with a 45ml tube of hardener/catalyst paste (dibenzoyl peroxide).
Feder MKD Resin Adhesive can also be mixed with Resin Base Colours to achieve a matched colour for your application, giving you a seamless joint effect. PLEASE NOTE: Only the Straw resin colour is designed to be mixed with Resin Base Colours as it is the basic formulation of the adhesive.
The adhesive has a gel time at 25°C of 4 minutes, and a hardening time of 60 minutes.
