Description

BAL Silicone Sealant is a flexible, waterproof, ready to use silicone sealant, suitable for domestic/light commercial applications. Comes in 310ml tubes.

Firm bonding. Cures in 24 hours (per 4mm of thickness). When fully cured: Good service temperature range (-50°C to +150°C).

BAL Silicone Sealant is designed to be used for sealing movement joints in floor and wall tiling installations. For surfaces including acrylic, ceramic, fiberglass, glass, porcelain in dry or wet interior and exterior environments.

Can be used in areas such as breweries, leisure centres, bathrooms, changing rooms, restaurants/food consumption areas, food/drink processing plants, kitchens, domestic kitchens, hospitals/dental practices/veterinary surgeries, clean rooms & shopping centres.

Please note: BAL Silicone Sealant is NOT suitable for Aquariums. It must NOT be used on sensitive surfaces that could react with acetic acids released during cure.

Application:
Before sealing, ensure that all surfaces are clean, dry, free from dust, grease and any contaminants that may affect adhesion.

Recommended minimum joint depth: 6mm. For most applications, use in 6x6mm cross section.
1. Cut off tip of cartridge, leaving thread intact.
2. Screw on nozzle.
3. Cut nozzle to required width and angle.
4. Place cartridge in caulking gun and apply steady bead of silicone to required area.
5. Within 10 minutes of application, smooth silicone with wet spatula or similar.
6. Allow to cure (approx. 24 hours per 4mm thickness).
