BAL Flex One Tile Adhesive 20kg

Description

BAL Flex One Tile Adhesive is a standard-setting, highly polymer-modified, thixotropic, fully wettability, fluid with shape memory, water/frost-resistant cementitious tile adhesive for walls and floors. Available only in white, in 20kg bags.

BAL Flex One Tile Adhesive features a pot life of 2.5 hours and sets in 6-8 hours. (at 20°c).

BAL Flex One Tile Adhesive can be used for fixing ceramics, porcelain and vitrified tiles, mosaics, most natural stones, terrazzo, rigid foam insulating materials and brick slips in dry or wet interior and exterior environments.

BAL Flex One Tile Adhesive is recommended for large format wall tiles, in areas of total immersion in water e.g. swimming pools and showers. Can also be used on installations subject to limited movement and vibration, and heated screeds, when used in conjunction with BAL Rapid Mat.

NOT SUITABLE FOR: Metal, painted, Glass/metal tiles with water-sensitive coating on back, plywood walls and tiling to existing glazed tiles.

BAL Flex One Tile Adhesive can be used on the following substrates:

• Brick/Concrete (Ensure surface is flat)
• Rendering
• Lightweight Blockwork (Apply a cement: sand render e.g. BAL Quickset Render or a suitable tile backing board prior to tiling)
• Cement:Sand Screed (may be used in conjunction with BAL Rapid Mat)
• Plaster (Prime first with undiluted BAL Prime APD, in wet conditions tank out first with BAL Tank It or BAL Waterproofing Kit For Showers.)
• Plasterboard (In wet conditions tank out first with BAL Tank It Waterproofing System or BAL Waterproofing Kit For Showers.)
• BAL Tile Backer Board/Tile Backer/Fibre Cement Boards (In wet conditions tank out first with BAL Tank It Waterproofing System or BAL Waterproofing Kit For Showers.)
• Glazed Ceramic Tiles / Hard Natural Stone (When modified with BAL Admix AD1, pre-diluted 1:3 with water, may be used in conjunction with BAL Rapid Mat)
• Timber Floors (When used with BAL Rapid Mat)
• Overlaid Timber Floors, 15mm minimum (Seal back face and edges with undiluted BAL Bond SBR, may be used in conjunction with BAL Rapid Mat)
• Vinyl Tiles/Sheets
• Mastic Asphalt
• Anhydrite/Calcium Sulfate Screeds (Prime with BAL Prime APD, first coat 1:1 with water, second coat undiluted 90°C to the first, may be used in conjunction with BAL Rapid Mat)
