Description
Ardex R5E Fast Cure Epoxy Primer is a two component, solvent free epoxy resin for use on sound substrates where a faster cure is required, prior to the installation of Ardex polyurethane screeds and self smoothing epoxy floor coatings.
Ardex R5E Fast Cure Epoxy Primer also may be used when blinded with Ardex Fine Aggregate and used as a primer prior to applying thick applications of the Ardex SD-T/Ardex K 80 industrial floor system, or other appropriate Ardex cement-based products.
Physical Properties:
Working time: 15 mins at 20°C
Walkability: 4 hours at 20°C
Ardex R5E Epoxy Primer should be allowed to cure prior to the installation of the final floor finish, typically 12 hours at 20°C.
Coverage:
Approximately 24m2 per 6kg unit.
Packaging:
6kg units of the product are supplied in pre-gauged metal duo containers. The hardener (component B) is in the small container and the resin (component A) is in the large container with room to mix in the hardener (component B).
