S2 Tile Adhesive

S2 Tile Adhesive is a high-performance, cementitious adhesive classified under EN 12004 as highly deformable (capable of >5mm deformation). It is designed for installations prone to significant vibration or movement, such as timber floors, underfloor heating, and swimming pools. Commonly referred to as “rapid setting,” “flexible,” or “fibre-reinforced” adhesive, it ensures tiles do not crack on unstable substrates.

High Flexibility: S2 Tile Adhesive is capable of withstanding substantial movement and vibrations.
Substrates: Ideal for timber floors (plywood/chipboard), swimming pools, and underfloor heating.
Tile Types: Suitable for most tiles, including natural stone (marble, granite), porcelain, glass, and mosaics.
Application: Generally 3–20 mm bed thickness, often used for internal and external jobs.
Performance: Frequently rapid setting, allowing for fast-track installation in high-traffic areas

Underfloor Heating: The high flexibility allows for thermal expansion and is why S2 is often recommended over S1 for demanding underfloor heating projects.
Large Format Tiles: Provides the necessary bond strength for heavy tiles.
External Tiling: Excellent for areas exposed to severe weather conditions.
High-Traffic Commercial Areas: Due to its exceptional bond strength, it is used in high-demand environments.
Timber Substrates: Often preferred for high-movement wood floors over S1.
