Ardex Damp Proof Membranes are designed to protect the floorcovering installation from residual construction moisture and rising damp, where the highest measurable moisture readings are present (up to 98% RH). Ardex Damp Proof Membranes also have excellent adhesion to damp concrete even at lower temperatures making them ideal for UK site conditions.

The installation of a liquid damp proof membrane is a vital stage in the construction process, for both new builds and refurbishment work where a structural DPM may be missing or damaged, or where residual construction moisture is present in the floor.

Where a structural DPM is in place, and residual construction moisture is present, an Ardex Moisture Vapour Suppressant can be applied to floors with moisture readings up to 95% RH, speeding up the installation of the floorcovering by allowing the early laying of an Ardex Levelling and Smoothing Compound in as little as 2 hours.
